Mintaur offers several advantages over Singular.app. Unlike Singular.app, which requires creators to pay all costs upfront, Mintaur allows for Lazy Minting or Minting on Demand, where collectors bear the minting costs.

Lazy Minting means creators have only one time cost for pinning their assets. No other upfront costs so the creator can prepare their collections with multi-assets and nested NFTs in advance.

Not right now, but we're working on it. Our team is developing tools to make it super easy for users to create collections and NFTs that are composable and equipable. We'll let you know when it's ready.

All NFTs you create with Mintaur will be up for trade at Singular.app. The initial purchase must be done on Mintaur.

Mintaur supports all EVM chains that Singular.app does. Right now, that includes Ethereum, Polygon, Moonbeam, Base and Astar. We're planning to add more soon.

While NFTs created with Mintaur will be visible on aggregator marketplaces, their advanced functionalities like multi-asset and nested will not appear. For these functionalities, it's best to use Singular.app.

Royalties set on Mintaur will be enforced on Singular.app, but other marketplaces may have blockers for royalties, so it's recommended not to use them.

There is no limit to the number of NFTs you can create. The decision is yours, based on the collection you are developing.

It is possible to limit the number of NFTs in a collection after it has been minted, but it's a one way operation therefore you should be confident in your decision as there is no way back.
